    Improving eHealth implementation: Outcomes of the ImpleMentAll project

    Powered by the the ImpleMentAll project project, with the support of EHTEL member, the Mental Health Services Center in the Region of Southern Denmark.

     

    EHTEL members are engaged in some really interesting, practical developments.

    What helps innovation to move forward? The complexity of implementation processes in healthcare has prevented many clinical innovations from reaching routine practice, despite evidence of their effectiveness. The ImpleMentAll project (Jan 2017 – Mar 2021), led by long-standing EHTEL member the Region of Southern Denmark, was a European Horizon 2020 collaboration working to improve eHealth implementation.

    Human Matters: hybrid care and digital mental health

    EHTEL often leads the field on ideas. The 2020 EHTEL Symposium featured a session on the role of digital mental health in contributing to improved health and community resilience, including talks by Marie Paldam Folker from the Centre for Telepsychiatry in the Region of Southern Denmark and Erik Van der Eycken from GAMIAN Europe. This sparked an interest in the fields of digital mental health and hybrid care from Healthmanagement.org, who invited the two organisations to contribute their thoughts and ideas to the β€œHuman Matters” edition of the HealthManagement.org journal in April 2021.

    Quick and quality-assured data in Norway

    With the support of EHTEL member, the Norwegian Centre for E-health Research
     
    Norway is working hard to improve the quality of patient data and the speed with which it can be retrieved. Research institutions can really help to enhance societally important elements of patient data. The Norwegian Centre for E-health Researchan EHTEL member, has made dramatic steps forward in this field, both announced in 2021.

    DigitalHealthEurope is a dynamic European coordination and support action. It is working to ensure that platforms and spaces are available for all kinds of stakeholders to work together on the next futures in digital transformation in health and care in Europe.
